Quinn & Barrett

Quinn & Barrett

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️This was quite the intriguing book. Vanessa’s character in this plot seemed to have various angles as her agenda and her hearts desire seemed to split her decisions fairly often. The action in this book though was excellent, and I often found myself wishing that I didn’t have to stop reading to get other things done.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️I dont even know where to start with this review. Van is an independent woman living around whole bunch of over protective males. She thinks on her toes and just reacts. When Quinn comes into the picture, he isn't backing down without getting what he wants and he wants her. It's a cute little love story.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Vanessa is a wonderful woman who does things on her own terms. That being said it is a good thing there are those around her who watch out for her - whether she likes it or not, and whether she know it or now. Four stars as I enjoyed the originality of the story, and the content of Misu and this tribe.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️The mystery and suspense in this book are first-rate. The reader is left to wonder exactly who is responsible for the things happening to Vanessa. Her relationship with Quinn carries the book as well.
It is something to say that the potential hazards of their relationship are really nothing compared to the day-to-day hazards she faces. The action scenes are powerful and gripping.
This is the second book in the Grant series, but it too works fine as a standalone. If you have had the pleasure of reading the first book, then this book will flow beautifully too.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️This is my second book by this author and the second book in this series. This is a series you want to read in order, I highly suggest reading the first book before this one to help your enjoyment with the characters and the author's writing style. I enjoyed reading this romance story. The author used details to not only make the story come to life but also make the characters pop. They are connectable and truly added to the story for me. I enjoyed how strong and supportive they are of each other. They have great growth and chemistry throughout the story which just added to the entertainment of this story. This is a fast paced, engaging story that is hard to put down. I cant wait to see what is next for this author and series. I highly recommend this book.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️This Love Story that takes me to a world I’d LOVE to live in. One with a handsome chauffeur/bodyguard with a limo, a gorgeous white horse that loves and understands you, where money is so abundant it rarely needs talking about and enjoying the best of San Francisco. Both main characters are highly engaging, with heaps of twists and turns to figure out. This is story is a vacation in itself; you’ll go places you’ve never been, discover some Native Americans and delve into some lives (and mysteries) that you be eager to visit again … in the next book, I hope!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️I really enjoyed this story. As a tomboy myself, Vanessa was an easy MC to connect with. She is a woman who is not going to take any crap from anyone and I loved watching her take control of her life.
I have very much enjoyed this series so far and look forward to reading the next installment in “The Grant Series”.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️I enjoyed this story. The characters are well-defined and likable. Vanessa is very relatable to me, and I found the storyline interesting, the plot exciting. All the while, a little romance mixed in. Book 2 in the author's excellent Grant series. I highly recommend.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Three cousins and three back stories that all link up and such great adventures. I really enjoyed first book A Smuggler's Last Song as was exciting, intriguing and was great to meet Emma and her story. This time its her cousin Vanessa and what a story is unravelled. This trilogy was a joy to read as characters are engaging, exciting, vulnerable, humourous and connected with them all even from a very privileged and different world! Mystery, intrigue, love, romance and lots of twist and turns. The stories are definitely unique and take you on a rollercoaster and unexpected journey of adventure but that makes them exciting and hard to put down as once the book begins you are drawn in and want to see what happens next as you never know what is around the corner. Probably could be enjoyed as stand alone, but so much more if you read book 1 and definitely need finale in book 3. Wonderful, enjoyable and exciting, I really enjoyed the Grant series.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A family saga as twisted as a corkscrew

Old-fashioned misogynists arranging marriages between teenagers – in the U.S., no less. It’s one thing to keep a business in the family, but it’s quite another to keep the gene pool there. Just Say No to dynasties! Fave quote: ‘When a hearty oak falls, tragic events begin’
